Below are a few pictures of our event, it was great fun, and eveyone seemed to have a good time.
These were the Hilliard House Homecoming Reunion silent auction items.

Trunk – Hand crafted replica steamer trunk constructed using
hook nails technique. Includes cedar bottom.

Candle holder – Hand crafted small candle holder made from local pine.

Baby Afgan – Created by Judy Kurrasch, owner and operator of Read Me Again Books, located at 506 Elizabeth Street in Downtown Waycross.

Dance Fan –Native American ceremonial dance fan created by Karen Sullins. This work is all natural and is rich with meaning – seven turkey feathers represent the seven tribes; the four peacock feather represent N, S, E and W; the red pheasant feather the one true God.

Gorday – photograph by local artist Jim Gorday. Jim Gorday is a native of Waycross, Georgia, and graduate of Waycross High School. He attended Georgia Tech and graduated from North Georgia Military College. Before retiring as a major in 1985, Gorday had a distinguished career in the United States Army. He has traveled the world since 1964—as a soldier and as a citizen. His works include images from nature, wildlife, and architecture from around the world. He now resides in Lorton, Virginia.

Sycamore bowl – hand turned 5 ½ inch wooden bowl made of sycamore

Doily – Tatting at its best by Master Artist Myrtie Highsmith of Myrtie’s Tatted Specialties 4040 Russell Lane

The bookends were hand etched in black granite by the craftsmen of Bailey Monument & Vaults Co.
